Thursday Ultrasound

Today we found out the sex of our child. But before I tell you what it is, I think it is important to note that at this stage, about 21 weeks, our daughter is perfectly healthy and she is due to be born about the first of June. Did I just do that? Well, I hope most of you at least picked up the clue.

Yes, Mandy and I are having a little baby girl. We are very happy. Queenie is most excited because it will bring more balance to our houselhold. Apparently, if it was going to be a boy, King and Jack had a plan of complete domination. Anyway...

Although we have a good idea as to what name we will be giving our daughter we do not plan on sharing that information at this time. Consequently, we are still open to suggestions. If you would like to take part in the naming of her, please leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Monday Doctor Visit

Mandy and I went to the doctor on Monday, but nothing really happened. We finally got to meet an actual doctor and not a nurse or a nurse practitioner or the friend of a friend of a nurse. He's a nice guy and basically told us everything is going great.

The official due date is June 4th but that may change as there is another sonogram scheduled for January 21st. It's in that visit that we may find out the sex of the baby. But don't get your hopes up because we have been told numerous times that due to recent law suits concerning bad boy/girl information, they may not tell us anything unless they are very, very positive.

Anyway that's all I have for now except to thank Kevin for creating this blog. It does mean alot to us that so many people actually care about our baby.
